| Beat the Heat is a summer activity program where girls can come and participate in fun activities. They will be grouped, or sit with other girls their age. Girls can attend all meetings or sign-up just for the activity that fits your busy summer schedule. East Area Beat the Heat meetings are planned on the Tuesdays below in June and July. Non Girl Scouts may attend with summer registration form and activity fees. Parents or guardians are welcome to attend with their girl – make a date of it! Girls who bring a non-registered girl friend will receive $2 off the cost of her admission and her friend’s admission. Non-registered girl friends will be registered as Girl Scouts using the below form in order to participate. All activities run from 6:30 to 8:30 PM. Sessions include refreshments. There is one patch available for attending whether it is one session or all sessions. $12.00 per session or $60.00 for all activities.
